Hello my name is Hector Ruiz Jr, and I am a proud graduate of Robert Vela High School. After graduating, I earned my bachelors degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where I also had the privilege of being a student-athlete and playing basketball. My experience both academically and athletically have shaped my dedication to hard work, teamwork and perseverance. As a Special Education Inclusion teacher and basketball coach, I am passionate about helping students succeed both in the classroom and in their extracurricular pursuits. I strive to create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential. I am excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to grow the young minds of our youth in the classroom and on the court. Looking forward to a fantastic year with our students and community!
