Welcome!
This is my 17th year at Sharyland High School teaching Physics and coaching UIL Science. I truly enjoy the teaching profession and look forward to another great year :) As an educator, I am fascinated with the integration of technology in the classroom and its potential to impact the dynamic of the lesson cycle for our 21st century learners. I view technology as an enhancement to education. For this reason, I have an unwavering drive to find fresh, innovative ways to incorporate different instructional strategies via technology into my science curriculum.

My name is Angie Culberson-Espinosa and I am a wife and mother of two beautiful kiddos. I hold a BS in Genetics from Texas A&M University and an MS in Physics from Texas A&M Commerce. With 16 years in Education, I can truly say my passion lies in shaping the lives of our future leaders. In the classroom, building inspiring relationships with my students and instilling a love for science are my two main goals.

Along with being a classroom teacher, I am also a part of many other activities on my campus such as: Science Dept Chair, UIL Academics Co-Coordinator & Physics Coach, Campus Technology Rep, Physics Lead Teacher, District Curriculum Writer, Magic Club & Operation Smile Sponsor, Scholarship Committee Member and AP Reader for College Board. I was also named Sharyland High School teacher of the year in 2018.
