Mrs. Diana Alcala 
I am delighted to work at Sharyland ISD and be part of the Sharyland High School family.
I graduated from McAllen ISD, from Nikki Rowe HS. and received my BBA in Business Adm. Management from the University of Texas Pan American in 2004. I currently teach Career & Technical Classes in Business Management & Administration.
I began teaching in 2008, at PSJA ISD where I taught CTE Business and Technology courses and later taught at McAllen ISD where I also taught Business and Technology. I've held titles as Department Head, Campus Tech. Facilitator, Leadership/Hiring Committee Member, Campus Technology. Squad Facilitator, Web Master and Adviser for Student Council.
This year at Sharyland HS I will be teaching Business Information Management I and II, Business Law & Marketing. I will also Sponsor BPA Business Professionals of America and Sponsor Students Against Destructive Decisions SADD Club.
I currently hold certifications as Microsoft Office Specialist in Word and PowerPoint. Certified Google-Educator, EdPuzzle Coach, Screencastify, Kami and Microsoft Innovative Educator.
I take great pride in what I do and I expect the same from all my students. I look forward for an excellent and productive year.
