About me
Hello and welcome to my teacher page. My name is Ruben Garza, and I will be teaching English 2 and English 3 this school year. A little about me. I graduated from Texas A & M-Corpus Christi in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in English. I am certified to teach 6-12 grade English, English as a second language, and all-level physical education. I began my teaching career in the Corpus Christi area and eventually moved back to the Rio Grande Valley, which is where I grew up. This is my 23rd year as a teacher in the Sharyland I.S.D. and my 29th year in education. I am proud to be teaching at Sharyland High School, which is one of the best high schools in the state.
