Class Requirements
Grading ---
● Major grades – (60% of 9 week average) – includes tests, projects, presentations, spiral/portfolio
● Daily grades – (40% of 9 week average)—includes classwork, homework, quizzes
● Late work and absentee work are accepted according to district policy.
Project Based Learning---
Careers -- One from a Program of Study you will research a career of your choice.
● Must include job description, typical work day activities, educational requirements, market outlook, interview, pay scale, desired personal qualities for career
● Must be typed or powerpoint presentation. Each will also include an oral presentation.
● Each will count as a major grade.
Professional Digital Portfolio ---
Must have:
1. Cover sheet with your name, picture
2. Must have at least 4 divider sections
3. Must contain artifacts to include:
A. Resume
B. cover letter
C. transcript
D. career interest and personal skills survey results
E. Samples of classwork
