This is the image for the news article titled Pandemic Life Lessons BookDuring the COVID-19 Pandemic, CNN columnist David G. Allan, shared, "you are living in an extraordinary time. So much is happening in the world… in your life. Making sense of it… is important work. And writing…is one of the most enjoyable, creative, and productive ways to accomplish (it)." Students and staff will be encouraged to submit either a poem or short story.  The idea was inspired by our district motto 2020-2021 -Strong Apart -Stronger Together.  We want to explore the idea of how the pandemic lessons have made us stronger, brighter, and more appreciative. We have overcome much through resiliency.

We want student and staff participation from both SHS & SA3.  This is a joint publication.  Funds received from the grant will pay for the printing of the book. Each student and staff member who will be published will get a free copy of the book.

Submit your poem of 20 lines or less or short story of 500 words or less here.  Deadline to submit is Friday, January 28th.
