Hello Everyone,
My
name is Aaron Jason Walker. I prefer to go by Jason or Coach Walker. I
am from Weslaco, Texas and have always had a love for my Valley. I'm a
graduate of Sul Ross State University, where I received my Bachelors
degree in the area of science. I worked one year in Marfa, Texas as a
physical education teacher and then moved back down to the humid weather
of the Rio Grande Valley. Here in the Valley is where I decided to
work in the area of special needs. I've worked with the McAllen
Independent School District for the past ten years where I also worked
in the Alternate Education Program.
I have been a
freshman coach and an assistant varsity football coach for the last ten
years. This is my first year with the Sharyland school district. I am
very excited to be a part of such a well disciplined and proud
district. My second sport that I coach is with the girls track team.
