Teaching Philosophy

I will use strategies like differentiation and purposeful grouping in order to help all students be able to understand and grow as learners.By creating trusting relationships with all my students, I want to be able to give students the opportunity to have confidence in themselves and each other to learn the subject matter together, as well as have confidence in me to create these learning opportunities for them.

I plan to engage all students in learning by using strategies of differentiation in the classroom. Also by creating heterogeneous grouping, I will use different strategies to promote student learning like creating a team-based review game or being able to work together in class to see multiple perspectives of the material from their peers.
