Maribel Squibb

Mrs. Maribel Squibb

I have a Bachelors of Arts in Modern Languages from the University in Puebla, Mexico.  I also obtained a diploma in French as a foreign language at the Universite de la Sorbonne in Paris, France.  I am certified in the state of Texas in both French and Spanish. I have been teaching French and Spanish over sixteen years at Sharyland High School. I teach French 1, 2, 3, 3PreAP and French4AP.  Spanish 1S,  and Spanish 4AP.

I am a member of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), and a member of the Texas Foreign Language Association (TFLA).
I am the sponsor for the French Club.

I enjoy teaching our students different languages.  I believe learning another language opens the door to live and understand different worlds and cultures.  This gives participating students the opportunity to experience and understand different points of view and learn from other cultures.
