English II

Course Description

English II is both a thematic study of world literature ranging from ancient history to the contemporary period. Every day we will learn or practice a crucial facet of good writing and reading: rhetorical devices, argumentation appeals, style and grammar, analysis and interpretation. This course includes poetry, drama, fiction, and nonfiction, as well as opportunities for a variety of compositions with an emphasis on analysis.
